Recording New Songs

These last two days have been extremely hectic, Transition had a two day trial period recording new material with Sam (who engineered our last album) as producer this time. It went really well and we were all pretty amazed at the sounds we got from our small studio space. It was slow going though, I guess that's a problem with just doing 2 day's, it's hard to get momentum.

Then there's the idea of what to do with it when it's finished (it being the new album). My hope would be for it to get distributed and promoted by some major or almost major label, for example Linfair, or HIM. Anyway, have to wait and see.

Results and the end of a degree

Today, having come back from a short holiday with my family, I have been in to university to get my results. Actually it's my first time to ever go and get results, normally I just wait until they are posted, so this time I thought I should go and see what it was like (as it's probably my last ever time to have that experience).

Not bad, a high 2.1 which considering I made 4 trips to Taiwan, recorded two cd's and toured various times with my band Transition, as well as working at BISC and doing many other things in my church I'm pleased just to have passed (although the feeling of, 'I could have got higher' is always there haha).

Now the thing is to try and do something else, what now?
Apart from more Transition and more BISC, I need a job to earn money (something I've not really done before) so it's all into the unknown in many ways. Anyway, it'll be interesting to see what the future brings.
