New Life?

Well, this is my first time to write a blog from in Taiwan. Seemingly, my 'moving around the global village' title means that I go to some places, forget all about my blog and then when I'm home (after a number of months) write something on it to make it stay open.
So I guess I can say that I'll try to write more regularly as a habit, but what are the chances that I will?
I suppose only time can tell.
The other thing is that I never tend to read anyone else's blogs so I feel that why should people read mine?
However, just in case you have stumbled on this page and are wondering who I am and what I'm talking about (read back to find out who I am) then basically I can say that two weeks ago I arrived in Taiwan with the intention to stay for some time. Along with my band, we have work permits for for a few months and if things go well we'll try to extend that. Our upcoming album will be released here next month if things go well and we'll have a chance to tour around a bit and meet audiences all around the island.
In fact, we'll also be going to the areas that were devastated by landslides when typhoon Marakot hit at the beginning of August and playing concerts to help raise money for the people who have been made homeless by it all. I hope it's a successful venture.
As for the lifestyle here, as it's in no way my first time then it's not so hard to get used to, I enjoy the food and the people are wonderful (especially my friends). I definitely don't feel out of place here and I think the idea of being here long term is not a hard one to imagine (although I'd miss my family a lot).
Well anyway, let's see how life unfolds here and maybe I'll post again in the future. Here's a quick picture :) to give a taste of Taiwan.
